Gwinnett Newborn and Baby Photo Contest!

Hi there! I’m really excited about this offer and hope you will be too! I’m attempting to update my baby photography business and I would like to have some more current sample images to use in my marketing campaigns, so here’s the deal…

  • You bring your baby (newborn up to age 12 months) into our studio in Buford (clean, warm, and baby friendly) and we will have a one to two hour stress free photo session with him/her at absolutely NO COST to you.
  • A week or so after the photo session, you will return to the studio for a viewing session. I will show you between 20 and 50 fully edited images from the photo session. You pick out your favorite and you will receive a FREE 8×10 print! You DO NOT have to purchase a single thing at the viewing, the 8×10 is absolutely free. Additional prints may be purchased at 25% off of our regular pricing. Grandparents are welcome at the viewing.
  • At midnight on April 30th, 2010, I will post a poll on my website where people will vote for their favorite image. Voting will run for 72 hours and the winner will receive a $500 Photo Session Certificate, 2nd place wins a $150 certificate, and 3rd place receives a $50 certificate. These certificates can be applied towards table prints, mounted wall portraits, canvas gallery wraps, another session, etc. and are good for 90 days from the date of issue.

Of course, there’s always a catch in the fine print, so here it is….I want to use these images for my marketing. Which means I may use an image (one that you approve of) of your child as a sample in the studio, a sample on the website or blog, a competition, or maybe on some marketing mailing. Your child will not be identified in any way and I will not sell the images to anyone. That’s it!

This offer will be limited to no more than 20 babies.

April 20, 2010 - 6:49 am Dayna Benard - I recently had the opportunity to work with David Pope Photography when I entered my daughter into his Gwinnett Newborn and Baby Photo Contest. This was by far one of the best professional photography experiences I've ever had! David's studio was an inviting and comfortable environment in which even my 5 month old was able to relax and provide great pictures. In that same photo session, I was able to look at samples of David's work and must say that he uses a variety of methods and mediums I've never seen before, but was pleasantly surprised with the outcome of the product. Upon returning to David's studio for my photo viewing session, I was extremely surprised with the way he conducted our viewing. I was able to view all 106 of my daughter's pictures and an exquisite slideshow presentation on a large projection screen. It was unique and exciting to see David go above and beyond to create that viewing experience for us. In my dealings with David, I can tell he takes his art very seriously and that, for me, makes the investment in his talent worth it. April 20, 2010 - 8:23 am Shana Keyes - My husband and I recently entered our son into David's Baby contest and were very happy with the process. Unlike the mall photo studios, where there is chaos all around, David's studio is quiet and clean. He was very patient with us, especially since our little guy wasn't in the mood to have his photo taken! He alllowed us to come back a second time to try again, which was great. After all the fussing, I was AMAZED at how many great shots he was able to get! The viewing was wonderful, on a large screen with a wonderful slideshow set to music. David did a great job touching up the photos so they looked fantastic. I also liked that his studio was "baby-ready" with a changing area and everything! Overall we had a great experience and will be recommending David Pope Photography to friends and family. Can't wait to get the prints!

April 22, 2010 - 6:30 pm Bridget - I recently had the opportunity to work with David Pope Photography,after entering my daughter into the Gwinnett Newborn and Baby Photo Contest. He was VERY inviting, his studio was VERY clean, and comfortable (to make yourself at home. My 4 months old was able to interact right away with Mr.Pope which is hard for her because she is a Mommie/Daddie girls and doesn't take kind to others that often. Not only was the studio VERY inviting and for myself and 4 month old but my 3 yr old also was able to be entertianed with the room he had set up with a changing table, train track, and even a rocker for the mothers who were still breastfeeding. While taking the photos of my daughter (over 200) Mr.Pope was able to tell me how he wanted her or where I needed to be in order to get a shot. He was also very kind to let us take little short breaks every so often.After having the photo session he showed me some of his work that was just over the top i could not believe it (it was good. I was not too sure if the shoot came out well (didnt know if he got any smiles in the photos) Too my SURPRISE when going back to review the photos and pick the contest photo he had gotten MORE smiles than i though. HIS work is GREAT i had a VERY hard time picking my favorite. David is a VERY GREAT photographier i must say.

April 30, 2010 - 8:20 pm R.M. - Recently, we took our son to have photos made at David Pope Photography. The studio, which is residential, was spacious, exceptionally clean, and quiet. It was quite the contrast to commercial, photo-mill type photographers. There was a room for children to play that included train tracks and a rocking chair. After the photo shoot, the photo selection process was made much easier because the images were viewed on a wall-sized projection screen. At that size, it was easy to see details. The photography was moderately priced: more than the photo-in-the-box places, but cheaper than other comparable studios that offer individualized portraits. A good experience!
