Senior Portraits

Senior Portraits Are Important

It’s your senior year and you are approaching a very important and exciting milestone in your life. When you graduate, everything changes… everything. So, before it’s too late, why not take this opportunity to show the world who you are. Artistically capture your spirit, your energy, and your youth, right now, through professional photography. When you look at your portrait in ten or twenty years from now, you will be very glad you did.

Why Use David Pope Photography?

Can you get a senior portrait from the company that takes your yearbook pictures? Sure you can. But why follow the crowd and get the same old, stiff, boring images as everyone else. Choose to let your uniqueness show through.

David Pope Photography spends the time to get to know you and what is important in your life. We consult with you and spend the time to help you customize your portrait session to reflect your style, your look, and your preferences. Then we help you choose an appropriate location, colorful background, cool props, best clothes, and great makeup for an unforgettable photo shoot… where you are the star.

Take a look at some of our former seniors.

Choose from many photographic styles (contemporary, traditional, rustic, modern, urban, grunge, classic, conservative, etc.). Your shoot can take place in our 2,000 square foot, fully equipped studio or on location somewhere special to you.

Your portrait images can be crafted in many ways and placed on a wide array of products, including wall portraits, slide show set to music, gift prints, composites, cards, canvas, gallery wraps, metal, and much more.

We focus our energies to make sure that your images are distinctive, creative and artistically reflect the real you.

Trash the Formal

You may have heard about the wildly popular “Trash the Dress” wedding shoot? A few weeks after the wedding, the former bride puts on her wedding dress, one more time, and poses for some spectacular photos doing things that she didn’t dare do before the wedding. She might climb a tree, play in the surf, skateboard, scale a mountain, or run through a field of flowers.

Well, we now offer a “Trash the Prom Dress” shoot. You can wear your prom formal (or a stand-in purchased at a thrift shop) and go CRAZY. Do whatever you want and we’ll photograph every zany, carefree moment. (Shhhhh! Don’t tell anyone, but most of the time, we try to be gentle so that the dress is not ruined and can be professionally cleaned and restored to it’s original condition.) The shoot is unforgettable and the images are one of a kind.
